Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person role-playing game. The game takes place in the year 2077, in a corrupt and tech-advanced world where you play as V, a mercenary going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality.

Your character’s features can be customized according to your taste, and that includes class, sex, hairstyle, face, body type, clothing, as well as the background. The game features three different classes, each of them specializing in a certain area: Techie (machinery), NetRunner (hacking), and Solo (combat). The stats of a character, like Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflex, Tech, and Cool, are flexible and can be adapted to fit each respective class. The player can purchase and upgrade cyberware implants through a Ripperdoc, or get military-grade abilities in the black market. You can also upgrade weapons with the help of Gunsmiths.

The game takes place in an open environment set in Night City, California, which has six very different districts. At the shining top is City Center, where the biggest corporations compete to make the showiest headquarters possible. At the grimy bottom, there is Pacifica, a distant part of the city that has been partially abandoned and overrun by gangs. In between, you can find the industrial district of Santo Domingo, the tourist-friendly Westbrook, the affluent suburbs of Heywood, and the dense tangle of life and commerce that is Watson. The Badlands, the outskirts of Night City, can also be explored and has its own questline. V may traverse all locations by foot or in vehicles. Those vehicles are customizable, and you will be able to drive them in first or third-person view. There are also apartments that can be bought to be used as home bases, where V can fetch weapons, use a computer, or even bring back NPCs for sexual or romantic activity.

The world has a full day-night cycle and dynamic weather patterns which may affect the way NPCs behave. It also features non-English-speaking characters, and players who do not understand the language will be able to buy translator implants to comprehend them. Fixers will provide you with quests. Experience Points can be acquired from main quests, and they can be used to raise your stats, while side quests can offer street cred and unlock skills, vendors, places, and additional missions.

V will have the aid of various companions and acquaintances throughout the game. There are plenty of activities for V to do in Night City, like boxing, hacking, auto racing, range shooting, etc... Your choices and actions can lead to different endings of the game. There is also a multiplayer option that will appear sometime in the future.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a single-player adventure, but here is also a multiplayer mode that will appear sometime in the future, after some DLC and single-player content have been added.
